Rosneft, Beijing Gas create JV for gas filling stations in Russia
MOSCOW, Nov 29 (PRIME) -- Oil major Rosneft and China’s Beijing Gas have signed an agreement to create a joint venture to expand a gas filling station chain in Russia, where Beijing Gas will get a 45% stake, Rosneft said in a statement on Thursday.
The two companies plan to construct about 170 gas filling stations in the country basing on Rosneft’s subsidiary RN-Service, and will also study possibilities to use liquefied natural gas (LNG) as motor fuel, the company said.
